Davidsonville seniors treated by Ms Signature contestants
The Shalom Seniors Club was treated to movies and a fashion show.
Seniors from the Shalom Seniors Club (SSC) in Davidsonville were treated by the Top 10 contestants of the Face of Miss Signature Pageant on Saturday, 28 November.
This was part of the contestants’ charitable initiative to make an impact in their local communities with financial and product support from their local Signature store.
The event was held at the Southgate Mall where the seniors were treated to watch movies and were also VIP guests to watch a fashion show hosted by the contestants.
The contestants are from all over the country, some of which are from KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng and Limpopo. Each of them were required to organise events at women’s homes, old age homes and orphanages in their respective hometowns.
Charity work is emphasised and is compulsory for all the Miss Signature contestants. The SSC was treated for being one of the first beneficiaries of Limelite Models in Roodepoort.
Limelite Models is a model agency and event management company that has managed the Miss Signature final event since 2011.
“This year Signature Cosmetics was able to reach 10 different homes in three different provinces,” said Lehandri Verster, spokesperson for Signature Cosmetics in a press statement.
“It has been a rewarding experience for everyone who was involved,” she added.
