Last week the Wilropark Kleuterskool added a bit of fun to their weekly routine by holding a small photo competition for the toddlers.
According to school principal and owner Marie Grobler, it was their way of having some fun with the yearly school photos being taken. Photographer Derrick Flynn visited the school the week prior and took a photo of every cute little face. Thereafter a board was set up in the foyer where the photos were pinned and the parents could view them.
Grobler had Melinda Kruger and Fiona Flynn of the Ouklip Pharmacy officially judge the photos.
On Wednesday (2 December) the winners were officially announced on the playground. The little ones sat in a row on a low wall, keen to hear who won.
Junior winners:
• Domenic Herbst, 3, and Jayden Ramsden shared the boys prize.
• Chantelle Gutura, 4.
Senior winners:
• Duchcana Khunong, 6.
• Khumo Matjeka, 5.
