Suburbs, business centres and informal settlements in and around Honeydew have been affected by a planned water interruption scheduled for 8 and 9 December.
This will go until 6am on 9 December.
On Twitter, Joburg Water said that water tankers will be placed at the following locations:
- The corner of Drysdale and Taurus roads, in Sundowner
- Honeydew Medical Centre on Boundary Road, North Riding
- Curro Aurora School, in Sundowner
- Corner of Dale Lace and Eastwood avenues, in Randpark Ridge
- Corner of Dolfyn Street and Dale Lace Avenue, in Randpark Ridge
- Corner of Blueberry and Apple streets, in Bush Hill Estate AH
- Trinityhouse Randpark Ridge (on Knoppiesdoring Street)
- Hertford Junction, in Lanseria
- Zandspruit Informal Settlement
- Zandspruit Shopping Centre
Residents are advised to use water sparingly and only use water for drinking, flushing, cooking and bathing.
