Cotton candy, known as candy floss in South Africa is a sweet treat among adults and children.

Although it is not sugar free because its only ingredient is sugar, it is a fat free treat.

In 1904, two candy makers introduced their invention of how to make cotton candy at the St. Louis World’s Fair in America. Since then, it was a hit among people and National Cotton Candy Day was introduced.
