Sparrow Villagers get their groove on

Party time for Sparrow Village

The youth of Sparrow Ministries Rainbow Village were treated to a fun filled party.

Hosted by Marcelle Kay at the Cecil Payne Sports Stadium, the children enjoyed humping castles, popcorn, candy floss, chocolate fountain and a performance from a magician.

Kay decided to host this party for the children as she has a personal interest.

She lost someone dear to her from AIDS and she wanted to do something for others.

She approached Spar, Trafalgar Properties and City Reef Auto Spares to help sponsor her event.

“We came up with a Backpack challenge which is a variation of the shoe box challenge. All children will receive a variety of gifts which will be put into the backpacks. No child will be left behind,” said Kay.
