Update: Police treating Klinkenberg death as suicide

Body found in Magaliesburg, not Muldersdrift.

Although initial reports said the body of Robert Klinkenberg was found in Muldersdrift, Krugersdorp Police has confirmed that it has been found in Magaliesburg yesterday.

Captain Mafokeng said the body was found with one bullet wound and that the police is currently treating it as a suicide although an inquest docket has been opened.

Director of Klinkenberg Inc found dead

Klinkenberg Incorporated has released an initial short press statement.

In the statement the law firm said “as a firm we mourn the passing of our director, beloved colleague and friend Robert Klinkenberg. Please be advised that the Law Society is being notified and upon receipt of their directive as to the dealing with all existing client files a further statement will be released.

We thank you for your understanding during this difficult time”.

Friends, employees and clients also paid their respect on the firm’s Facebook page.

A great man with an awesome and open heart. Our hearts are broken but what we will carry what we learned from you with us FOREVER”.
