RADIOKOP – Charterhouse Grade 3s host their annual Entrepreneurs Day.

Charterhouse held its annual Entrepreneurs Day on 30 November at the school.

Charterhouse spokesperson Ria Stevens said the event was hosted by the 103 Charterhouse Grade 3s.

Stevens explained the goal of the day was not only for the young businessmen and women to earn some extra pocket money, but also to raise funds for the Randburg SPCA and the Joey Pouch.

Stevens explained the Joey Pouch is a temporary place of safety for children from newborn up to the age of four.

“The Joey Pouch is a home for children where they can reside between emergency removal and placement,” said Stevens.

Stevens said the youngsters had to choose a theme and decorate their stalls and dress up according to it.

“Each child had to do some market research and complete a business before the big day. They also had to ‘hire’ a stall in order to sell their goods. Josh Rodger with his Minions stall was the winner of the day. Stevens said Josh obtained the highest scores and had the most attractive stall and eye-catching outfit, and Madison Scorgie won the prize for the most attractive stall.
