Thanks for all your help

The councillor for Ward 85 will be on leave this festive season, but sends his well wishes.

Ward 85 councillor Carl Mann sincerely thanks every resident for their support in solving community problems during the past year.

Mann said 2015 had been a challenging year in many aspects but he looks forward to working with the community in the coming year.

In a letter to the Record, Mann thanked stakeholders for their assistance and wished them well for the coming festive season.

“Please ensure you all take special care over the festive seasons on the roads, especially if you’re travelling to a holiday destination.

“Christmas is a special time of year in which families, friends and associates are brought together to celebrate and look back on the accomplishments of the year, and to prepare for the next set of challenges which 2016 will bring.

“I look forward to working with all of you in the new year and hope our partnership through the community will bring us many accomplishments and victories.”

Mann will be on holiday between 20 December this year and 6 January 2016. He is happy to receive any urgent phone calls but will otherwise be available in the new year to discuss matters.

“I extend a special word of thanks to the Kloofendal Residents Association, the Constantia Kloof Community Forum (CKRF) and the HelderKloof Neighbourhood Watch (HKNW) for their support during the year.

“Also thanks to Ward 85’s ward commander Malatsi Macbeth, Mathilde Myburgh at the Roodepoort Record and Phathu Luvhengo at the Roodepoort Northsider for drawing attention to local matters.

“In addition, thanks to all my fellow councillors for their continued support.
