Clarke thanks officials, organisations and the community for a productive 2015.

Ward 83 councillor Suzanne Clarke sends her festive greetings and well wishes to residents.

“What a year! I am sure we are all looking forward to a well-deserved break and spending time with our loved ones during the holidays.

“This time of year also gives us time to reflect on our individual and collective undertakings,” she said in a letter to the Record.

“A sincere thank you for your friendship, support and kindness during the year.”

Clarke wished residents a blessed festive season filled with joy and peace.

“May 2016 be a year of prosperity and good health for you and your loved ones.”

Clarke thanked the Roodekrans and Wilropark Neighbourhood Watch and the HelderKloof Neighbourhood Watch, residents who continuously volunteer to keep their suburbs safe and work tirelessly to report service delivery issues.

She also thanks NGOs and CBOs like the Rotary Club and the Lions Club Wilropark, especially Sandy van Heerden, for the compassion they’ve showed towards less fortunate residents this year.

“To the following City of Johannesburg officials; Puleng and André from City Parks, Lawrence Maseko and his team, Nicolaas and Willie from JRA, Gert Jacobs, Tsimo and his team from Joburg Water and all Region C officials, Housing MMC Sello Lemao, and Shaun at Revenue Services, on behalf of the community and the DA I thank you for your dedication and help this year.”

Clarke is also grateful for her ward committee members, especially JMPD Sergeant Mosiwa and Urban Inspector Henna, for their hard work and cooperation.
