The Pikitup website was officially launched this November, after months of ‘construction’ on the site itself.
At www.pikitup.co.za you can get useful tips on recycling, reusing and reducing your household waste. Residents can learn more about the management and governance structure of the company as well as what Jozi@Work has to offer.
More information is also given on tariff structures. The site is interactive in that residents can find a facility, log a query and even request a service right from behind their desks.
It also offers a neat collection calendar for those new to the area. Pikitup usually releases a special collection schedule for the holidays, but this has not yet been made available.
Residents are reminded to report illegal dumping to Joburg Connect on 011 375 5555 or 0860 562 874.
