Help find Chester the dog

Chester was last seen at Cradlestone Mall.

A nine-year-old Maltese-cross went missing in Fernadale after the dog groomer’s van was stolen with the dog inside on Thursday 12 November.

The owner of the dog, Betty Lidbetter said she received call that Chester was seen at Cradlestone Mall roaming the street.

According to Lidbetter, the parlour’s staff had loaded her dog, Chester, into the van to bring him home after his wash.

Two men approached the driver and pushed him aside, before driving off with the dog.

The van is silver in colour and has the name of the parlour, Shaggy’s Dog Parlour, on the side of the door.

Should anyone in the surrounding areas see the van or the dog, please call 011 889 0659.
