The Florida reservoir is currently without water due to a power failure last night.
According to the service entity Johannesburg Water electricians are currently on site to determine what the cause is and a generator is being taken to the site. The affected areas are: Florida View, Florida North, Florida Glen, Florida Hills, Maraisburg and Delarey.
Water supply will hopefully be resolved by midday, today.
According to Joburg Water the measures implemented over the past few days have improved the general water situation but residents are urged to remain active partners in reducing the amount of water used in the City of Johannesburg.
They thanked the community members, who did not have normal water supply, for their patience and those who have reduced their water usage.
