GALLERY: Smart Boys get 60 kits

MULDERSDRIFT – Business owners and Muldersdrift SAPS hand over soccer kit.

The Muldersdrift Business Women Association (MBWA) and Muldersdrift SAPS communications officer Warrant Officer Hitler Ngwenya handed over a soccer kit to the Smart Boys on 14 November.

The kit was handed over to 60 boys from the Informal Settlement in Muldersdrift.

The presentation was done by Augusto Palacios, who is the technical coach at Orlando Pirates.

Glenburn Lodge provided a venue and the sports ground.

The SAPS and business forum partnership are trying their best to uplift the community.

This initiative is to boost these U15 and U19 football players.

The main aim is to create a feeling of self-worth and to motivate them.

Boerewors was served to the hungry, which was provided by Cell Food and Oxygen for Life.

Station Commander Lieutenant Colonel Seabi said, “Muldersdrift SAPS are proud to be part of such a worthy initiative.”

Lt Col Seabi applauded the Muldersdrift Business Women Association and other stakeholders for their continuous efforts in addressing social-economic issues in the area.
