Barney and five other Clawbies adopted

Night Market a success.

About R2000 was raised and five Clawbies were adopted at Community Led Animal Welfare’s (Claw) Night market last Friday, 6 November.

Barney, a three-year-old Bassett hound mix cattle dog who has been waiting at Claw for almost a year for a forever home was finally adopted as well.

Attendants participated in wine-tasting, live music and a beauty contest for dogs.

“We were very busy on the night and we had so much support from the volunteers who helped us,” said Jennifer Gerner, Claw Veterinary Nurse.

She added she is very pleased with the outcome of the event and it was a good turnout.
