GALLERY: Rocci Business of the Year Gala Awards 2015
MULDERSDRIFT – Rocci along with FNB honoured business owners and companies for their achievements on 7 November.
Awards presentation to top SA businesses was the highlight of the evening at Misty Hills in Muldersdrift while Frog Production entertained visitors with stunning performances.
This was during the Roodepoort Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Rocci) / FNB’s Business of the Year Gala Awards 2015 that took place on 7 November.
Top businesses whose hard work and innovations have elevated them to be recognised for their outstanding achievements, were honoured.
It was announced that 268 nominations were accepted this year and gone through the judging process in all different industries and nominated in different categories.
The awards were given in the following categories: Corporate and Listed Companies; Business Community Support Organisation; Large Business; Medium Business; Small Business; Manufacturing; Professional Services; Legal Services; Health Care; Education; Entrepreneurship Awareness; Micro Enterprise; Most Promising Young Entrepreneur; Lady Rocci Business Woman of the Year; Lady Rocci Community Service Champion; Tourism;Venue; Hotel and Accomodation; Restaurant; Service Excellence and Community Support Organisation.
The FNB regional head Gauteng south-west business banking and collaboration, Michelle Geraghty and chief economist Sizwe Nxedlana also gave brief speeches on the global state of economy.
Geraghty said they were happy to be part of the fast growing SA business community.
Nxendlana mentioned a few of the stable and critical economic situations affecting small and large businesses in the country and abroad.
“There are times where every business goes through difficulties,” he said.
Rocci identified and acknowledge businesses who have achieved success and who truly embody the spirit of enterprises.
With 29 years of unsurpassed growth in the Business of the Year Awards, Rocci honours businesses whose hard work and innovations created successful business ventures, elevating them to be recognized for these achievements.
The Annual Business of the Year Awards is recognised as one of the most prestigious business events on the Roodepoort calendar.
