An elderly woman was rushed to hospital after she was stabbed five times with a pair of scissors on Sunday night.
The incident happened in Thistle Street in Florida after two men allegedly jumped over the fence and broke into the house. The woman stays alone. The two suspects attacked the woman with a pair of scissors and stabbed her five times.
According to the Florida CPF, the suspects fled with a laptop. Authorities were alerted by a neighbour who heard a commotion next door. The woman is currently recovering in hospital.
Florida Police spokesperson Lydia Dikolomela said they were not aware of the incident but will investigate it.
