The venue for the Horizon View Block Watch’s Crime Prevention Fun Day has been confirmed and will take place in Sonop Street Park, Horizon View.
The fun day will take place for the entire day on 21 November and will start at 9am until 6pm.
“The purpose of this initiative is to raise awareness in the community to be more vigilant, and crime savvy, so that we do not become a victim of crime,” said Alvin Montgomery from the Horizon View Block Watch.
Local security companies and emergency services will be present on the day to engage with the community.
The fun day is an initiative to bring the community together and promote unity.
