Florida Police Station has a new spokesperson — Sergeant Mpho More.
Mpho has been at Florida Police Station since the outset of her career in the service, a total of 13 years.
Her aim is to promote relations between the police and the media in order for the public to know what is going on in their community. She also undertook to address freedom of the press issues by educating officers with regards to Standing Order 156 and Section 16 of the Constitution which both deals with how the media should be treated.
“It is of utmost importance for me to develop and strengthen relations between the police and the Record,” said Mpho.
