Numerous injured in Roodepoort accidents

Patients, which included a girl believed to be 18 years of age, were lying on the ground.

10 people were injured in various road accidents in Roodepoort this morning.

ER24 and various private ambulance services were kept busy as they tended to the injured in the multiple scenes.

In Discovery, six patients were left with injuries ranging from minor to moderate this morning after a taxi collided with a bakkie.

ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found the damaged vehicles still on the road. Patients, which included a girl believed to be 18 years of age, were lying on the ground.

Paramedics assessed the patients, four from the taxi and two from the bakkie. They were found to have sustained minor to moderate injuries.

They were treated and transported to local hospitals for further medical care.

The exact cause of the collision is unknown. Authorities were on scene to investigate further.

The patients were transported by ER24 paramedics who were swiftly on the scene.

In Florida, two vehicles were involved in a collision that left three people injured.

The collision occurred on Ontdekkers and William Nicol Roads.

ER24 paramedics were immediately on scene and treated the patients before transporting them to various hospitals for further treatment.

In Strubens Valley, a motorcycle and vehicle collided on Hendrik Potgieter and Cascades Roads.

The motorcyclist was treated on scene for minor injuries.
