This Yorkshire Terrier has been running around Witpoortjie in front of Spar.
A man who sits in Generaal Pienaar Street currently has him but cannot keep him for too long or take him home.
A bystander said it is the first time he has seen the dog so he suspects it is not a stray dog.
Pet owners are encouraged to keep their dogs safe at their homes at all times.
If this is your dog, fetch him at the corner of Generaal Pienaar and Ham Street.
