Missing newspaper lady dead

The missing newspaper lady from Munsieville, who disappeared and left her husband was declared dead yesterday.

Marinda Labuschagne, the woman who had her husband believe she had been kidnapped when she left him for her new boyfriend, was declared dead yesterday.

Marinda used to live in Munsieville with her husband Hannes and sold Rapport newspapers on Sundays at various street corners in Witpoortjie. She mysteriously disappeared on 28 June.

Hannes went to great lengths to find his wife who he thought had been kidnapped along with their dog. He even went as far as consulting a sangoma for assistance.

However, on 1 August Hannes learned Marinda had not been kidnapped, but rather took the dog and left him for good.

Marinda moved to Vanderbijlpark with her new boyfriend with whom she was expecting a baby.

At that time Marinda had been ‘missing’ for a month and was two months pregnant.

A family member contacted the News about her sad passing yesterday.

It is believed Marinda died in her new house in Vanderbijlpark from an asthma attack. She was six months pregnant.

No further news about the baby is available yet.
