Support the RSME at their Spring Steam Meet

Enjoy a ride on a steam train and many more displays for only R10.

The four day Spring Steam Meet at the Rand Society of Model Engineers (RSME) is up and running.

“We are hosting a friendly steam meet and different clubs are invited to join us with their locos, said Darren Bedford, Vice Chairman at RSME.

Darren added, “The public is what keeps us going so this is just a way for us to raise money for our club.”

The railway track which boasts a 1.2 kilometre length will take place at 9.30am until 4.30pm until Sunday (27 September) at the Len Rutter Park.

Tomorrow, 26 September, people can look forward to static engine displays as well as a museum.

There is no entrance fee, however, a train ride costs R10 and snacks and refreshments will be sold.
