Yom Kippur for all Jews

We wish all our Jewish readers well.

Today marks a very holy day for Jews as they celebrate Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) for 25 hours.

Yom Kippur is the day of repentance for them and is regarded as the holiest day on the Jewish calendar.

As the sun sets tonight, Jews are to refrain from doing work as well as eating and drinking.

They are also not allowed to have a bath, anoint their body with oil, wear leather shoes and have sexual relations.

As all Jews celebrate this holy day, we would like to wish them well.
