Holy day for Muslims

Eid-ul-Adha involves animal sacrifice as a symbol of Ibrahim's sacrifice to Allah many centuries ago.

As all Muslims end off their celebrations of the Day of Hajj, they will celebrate another important day on the Islamic calendar.

Eid-ul-Adha involves animal sacrifice as a symbol of Ibrahim’s sacrifice to Allah many centuries ago.

The day begins with morning prayers which is followed by visits to family and friends.

At this time, food and gifts are exchanged between family members.

Muslims are also obliged to share food and money with the poor on this day.

We would like to wish our Muslim readers well for this day.
