The world's largest diamond was found in South Africa and it weighed over 3000 carrots.

The worlds highest bungee jumping facility is at Bloukrans Bridge in the Western Cape and is 710 Feet high.

The country boasts many tourist attractions and recently, Homo Naledi was discovered in Maropeng.

South Africa has a rich history and there are many things citizens can be proud of. Like the way the country is famous for diamonds and gold.

Here are a few interesting facts about the country that is worth bragging about:

• South Africa is the only country in the world to have all six members of the Floral Kingdom.

• The country has three capital cities which are Bloemfontein, Pretoria and Cape Town.

• South Africa has 11 official languages which is ranked as the second most official languages in the world, after Zimbabwe.

• The world’s largest diamond was found in South Africa and it weighed over 3000 carrots.
