Rufus, a 5-year-old Yorkshire Terrier went missing from his Roodepoort West home at 6pm on Saturday evening.
He is neutered and is blind in his right eye.
Gideon Gouws, owner, said he cannot understand how Rufus went missing from his house when all the gates were locked at that time.
“Rufus is like a child to us and my wife cannot stop crying,” Gouws said.
He added he is desperate to find Rufus.
