A local woman, Boipela Priscilla Machike who went missing on 1 August has been found dead.
The 20-year-old’s body was found in an open veld in Durban Deep and an inquest docket has been opened to determine the cause of death.
At this stage rumours of it having been murder are unfounded, said Roodepoort police spokesperson Nonhlanhla Khumalo.
