Here’s how to take on cell phone towers

Residents now have a chance to challenge the powers that be about cell phone towers.

For those residents that have major issues with proposed or installed cell phone towers in the neighbourhood, this is one public meeting you cannot miss.

Some fear health risks due to radiation once the towers start broadcasting.

Ward 85 councillor Carl Mann has organised a public meeting tonight (Tuesday 8 September) at 6pm at the Pelindaba Chamber of the Civic Centre regarding proposed cell phone towers in the neighbourhood.

He will be discussing the erection of cell phone towers on the following streets:
• Finch Street in Ontdekkers Park
• Riekert Street in Ontdekkers Park
• Roggeveld Street in Constantia Kloof
• Corner of Joachim Van Plettenburg and Panorama Streets, Constantia Kloof
• Korhaan Street in Horison Park

The Civic Centre is at 100 Christiaan de Wet Road.

Councillor Carl Mann assists residents in Princess AH (Plot 61), Horison Park, Heldekruin, parts of Discovery, Florida Park, Floracliffe, Kloofendal, Carenvale, Ontdekkerspark, Honey Hills, Constantia Kloof and Horison.
