The traffic on Albertina Sisulu and Main Reef Road came to a standstill as two vehicles collided this morning.
Nobody sustained injuries although one of the motorists was severely traumatised.
One of the women involved in the accident could be heard saying, “My car, my car” before crying.
She said the accident was caused by the both of them driving to a certain street at the same time.
Electricity was off in parts of Witpoortjie which affected the traffic lights.
Motorists are warned to be cautious when driving on that road.
