Roodepoort Primary: ‘Positive breakthrough soon’

No focus on negative.

The stand off between Davidsonville Community Forum (DCF) and the Education Department might soon come to an end, according to community leader Ronald Dyers.

“We do not want the focus on negative sentiments about ‘taking the law into our own hands’ or ‘breaking open the school gates’. This might jeopardise  the sensitive stage the mediation effort is at. We believe there will be a positive breakthrough soon,” said Dyers.

In the meanwhile the 300 odd pupils whose parents refuse that they go to the Department’s interim school are being schooled at various halls and churches in Davidsonville.
