According to ER24 two suspects were shot dead and three injured during a robbery at the Standard Bank in Clearwater Mall an hour ago.
It is believed one shopper also sustained minor injuries.
Information surrounding the attempted robbery is still sketchy at this point though.
Tactical response services, ambulances and the police are on the scene.
Customers are warned to avoid the Pick ‘n Pay entrance at Clearwater Mall as a shooting ensued following an attempted robbery.
The Record could not get hold of Honeydew Police for comment.
