Supermarket employee found with dagga

All the suspects were detained at Roodepoort Police Station.

Last week during a stop and search operation conducted by a 26 member team, an employee of a well-known super market in Wilro Park was caught in-store with 13 packets of dagga weiging 23.5g.

Before the store opened the manager asked all the staff to take out everything from their pockets and bags. He then noticed one employee trying to hide something in his hands. When he demanded to see what it was and saw the drugs, the police was called and the man arrested.

The suspect who had 30g of dagga on him allegedly attempted to bribe the police but they did not oblige.
