The women were also served with lunch by the young men of the Tshepang programme for Orphans and Vulnerable Children.

“Mothers play a major role in society as they nurture children,” said founder of the Tshepang programme, Susan Rammekwa during her speech.

She then added that the children of Tshepang are nurtured and cared for by the staff members of the programme as well.

Cathy Ru, a pastor and businesswoman, was one of the guest speakers and reiterated this when she based her speech on the theme of the event.

The women were also taught entrepreneurial skills as Tupperware representatives gave them tips on how to start their own business.

Each woman received a gift for attending and the money accumulated will go to the Tshepang programme for Orphans and Vulnerable Children.
