Joburg hosts MassMart Supplier Development Day
As part of the City of Joburg’s (CoJ) Growth and Development Strategy 2040, the City will be hosting the MassMart Supplier Development Day today at the Metro Centre.
The CoJ has partnered with MassMart to provide Johannesburg manufacturers an opportunity to showcase their market-ready products and services.
This will create potential market opportunities for these entrepreneurs with the opportunity of them becoming MassMart suppliers.
The main purpose of Massmart Supplier Development Day is to create access to markets for black-owned and women-owned businesses.
Sectors such as hardware, homeware, fine foods and beverages will be showcasing their products on the Massmart Supplier Development Day.
The programme will comprise of short discussions and networking opportunities.
Exhibitors will be showcasing their product for MassMart buyers to view and select.
The product and service offerings which are successfully spotted will be afforded an opportunity to be part of the MassMart Supplier Development Programme with a further opportunity to being part of MassMart shelve listings.
