A traumatised Johan Jordaan, Bokkie’s owner told the Record he found Bokkie dead at the Witpoortjie Train Station last night.
After endless searching, Johan decided to search the train tracks and amongst the rubble, he saw the lifeless body of 12-year-old Bokkie.
Jordaan alleges a young couple who usually smokes close to the station, kicked him to death.
“Bokkie was like a child to me and he lived like a king in my house. Whenever I ate steak, so did he and it is sad to discover he left the world by being beaten to death,” said a sorrowful Jordaan.
Jordaan’s wife, Mariëtte said, “we are going to miss him, but we are happy he can now rest in peace.”
