Sarda forced to cancel Dinner Dance

HONEYDEW – Due to poor response, Sarda has to cancel their Dinner Dance.

The South African Riding for the Disabled Association (Sarda) has had to cancel their Dinner Dance to be held on 28 August due to poor public response.

Usambara Wedding, Conference and Events Venue management has been extremely understanding and have agreed to allow Sarda to hold a luncheon there in 2016. As soon as the date for the luncheon has been finalised it will be advertised.

In the meantime, please diarise upcoming events:

  • 17 September: Deaf People Awareness Day. All are invited to come to the Centre and watch children from St Vincent’s School for the Deaf during their therapeutic riding session
  • 7 November: Annual Open Day – everyone is invited to come through and watch the children ride and demonstrate their abilities and skills on horseback, browse the stalls at the market and sit and relax in the beautiful tea garden while enjoying something to eat and drink. This is a day for the whole family that is not to be missed, with something for everybody. Parents are encouraged to bring their children to enjoy meeting and cuddling two adorable miniature donkeys.

Make sure you don’t miss out and help Sarda continue to put the ABLE back into DISABLED.
