Cody missing for over a month

His owner is traumatised.

For the past month, Cody’s owners have had restless nights worrying about his safety.

Cody went missing from his home in Little Falls after the front gate of his house was left open.

“I am so traumatised that I have dreams about him coming home. We have looked everywhere for him so now we are just hoping for the best,” said Cody’s owner, Tricia Combrinck.

She said on 23 July she was told a cat was mauled by dogs and then put in a black bag by the dogs owners because the cat was allegedly dead. The cat was believed to be at Strubensvalley Veterinary and when Combrinck verified this, the receptionist at the vet said they have not seen a cat in a black bag.

“All I know is that I have no idea whether it was my cat or not but I am hoping it was not my cat,” said Combrinck.

Cody is just over two years old and is not neutered. According to Combrinck, he is trusting and very gentle.

Combrinck said she has put up various posters of Cody but some of them were taken down and she does not know what to do anymore.

If you have seen Cody, call Combrinck on 082-785-6928.
