Thus far residents of Roodepoort and Florida have been able to avoid load shedding this week.
Eskom had not yet made a formal announcement on twitter of what the possibility of load shedding today or tomorrow (Wednesday 19 or Thursday 20 August) is.
According to the official City Power load shedding schedule and Grid Watch, Block 3B (Roodepoort and surrounds) should be spared load shedding at Stage 1 and 2 today but will be affected should Stage 3 be implemented from 4pm til 8.30pm on Wednesday.
Block 7B (Florida and surrounds) is scheduled for load shedding today regardless at which stage from 12 midnight til 4.30am, which has already passed.
On Thursday Block 3B residents are again skipped at Stage 1 but from Stage 2 onwards will be hit by load shedding from 81m til 12.30, should it be implemented.
Tomorrow, Tuesday 18 August, Block 3B is scheduled for load shedding regardless at which stage from 8am til 12.30pm. Block 7B will be spared load shedding at Stage 1 and 2 but suffers the same fate should any other stage be implemented.
