West Rand radio presenter Tholang Lebelo was awarded the best radio presenter at the Independent National Gospel Music Awards.
Hosted at the Dexo Deo ICC in Tshwane last week, the was also nominated in the Best Media Personality category.
The Mogale FM 93.6 gospel show presenter was up against Energy FM’s Pastor Holymike and Sbusiso Mtambo from Theta FM.
The award comes just six months after the radio station was relaunched.
Known to his listeners as Lesogana La Kitima, which roughly translates to running boy, burst onto the scene in 2006 at FM 90.7, a Christian Community Station.
Here he had the opportunity to host a show in every time slot except the Breakfast-Show.
In 2014 he joined Mogale FM 93.6 in Kagiso.
