Load shedding should not affect residents’ evening plans this Wednesday and Thursday (12 and 13 August).
According to the schedules of both City Power and Grid Watch, on Wednesday Block 3B (Roodepoort and surrounds) residents can expect load shedding only from Stage 2 between 12 noon and 4.30pm. Residents of Block 7B (Florida and surrounds) will only be load shed in extreme circumstances should Stage 3 or 4 be implemented, from 12 noon til 4.30pm.
On Thursday load shedding in the area is scheduled in the morning. From Stage 1, Block 3B will be shed from 4am til 8.30am should Eskom decide to implement it. Block 7B will only be affected from Stage 2 between 4am and 8.30am.
