Motorcycle accident leaves rider critical
Cause of accident uncertain.
A man is in a critical condition following an accident on Jim Fouche Drive near Hendrik Potgieter Road in Allen’s Nek this morning.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived at the scene and found a motorcyclist lying on the ground at the side of the road.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the motorcyclist coming off his motorcycle is still unclear at this stage and will remain the subject of an investigation. There were no other vehicles involved in the accident.
Upon assessment of the 47-year-old motorcyclist, paramedics found the man had sustained critical injuries during the accident.
The injured man was treated on the scene and transported to hospital for the urgent medical care that he required, under the care of an advanced life support paramedic.
