EFF paints Durban Deep red
Community members would stop and share their troubles with the members in hope that a better solution will arise.
Sub-Region C’s Economic Freedom Fighters embarked on a door to door recruitment campaign in Durban Deep this weekend.
Executive members such as Joburg EFF organisor Donald Mabenda, organisor Mike Motaung and ward 44 chairperson Tebogo Tshabalala lead a strong contingent of members throughout the community to get them excited and interested in the party.
Mabenda said the purpose of the day was to mobilize their existing membership and attracting new members who are unhappy with the current political landscape.
“We want to intensify our membership in the area by increasing our visibility. We want to address the issues of service delivery and land distribution and provide a proper alternative political party to the people who are still living in abject poverty,” he said.
Whichever house the EFF members went and whichever street they walked in, their red overalls were visible from a distance which attracted the interest they were aiming for.
