The 67-year-old deaf woman who was found murdered on Monday has been identified, according to police spokesperson Nonhlanhla Khumalo.
The woman has been identified as Magda Harington. According to the Record’s sources she was discovered semi-naked and bruised on her bed. Whether she was sexually assaulted is pending the autopsy.
Since she allegedly lived as a near recluse, it was also difficult to determine whether anything was stolen from her home during the crime.
