‘Kidnapped’ newspaper vendor found

It was believed she was kidnapped since she complained shortly before her disappearance of "being watched".

The Witpoortjie newspaper seller, Marinda Labuschangne (35) whose husband feared that she was kidnapped on 28 June, has been located.

According to unconfirmed reports her family has established that she is now living in Vanderbijlpark with a man. She allegedly cited “being tired of poverty” as her reasons for absconding from her husband. Labuschagne and her now estranged husband lived in Munsieville before she disappeared.

The Record is awaiting comment from Krugersdorp Police’s spokesperson.
