Jim Jefferies lights up The Globe

Due to public demand, The Globe was forced to add an extra date to the delight of his fans.

Silverstar Casino’s The Globe was packed with 3000 people as Australian comedian Jim Jefferies brought his Freedumb Tour to the West Rand.

Darren Whackhead Simpson was the opening act. He warmed up the crowds and had them in stitches before Jefferies took to the stage. Known for his brash, in your face, misogynistic and blasphemous routines, it was no surprise that the show was rated 18. Jefferies started the night out with some Oscar Pistorius jokes before apologizing to the crowd for the night’s routines.

At times, the crowd was holding onto their stomachs in laughter and at times, the jokes were so crude that awkward could be heard from the crowd.

The show managed to entertain and provide an excellent night out for the West Rand audience and Jefferies’ fans were no doubt left wanting more.
