Ntokozo Gumede, a Grade 6 pupil from the King’s School West Rand represented South Africa in the green and gold at the World Championships of Performing Arts, in Los Angeles.
Ntokozo competed against children from all over the world. She won a gold medal, two silver medals and a bronze.
Shining star Ntokozo also received a Champion of the World title for her excellent performance in dramatical drama.
The points between the gold and the silver were less than one per cent.
Her drama coach Mercia Swanepoel said, “All four medals are actually gold because of the small difference in marks but, unfortunately there must be a first, second and third.”
Ntokozo also received an offer from the directors of Dreamscape in Hollywood to be managed by their company.
