Wilropark, its extensions and surrounding areas will be without power on 2 August from 10pm as planned maintenance takes place.
According to a public announcement by City Power, the planned power interruption is neccessary to do essential maintenance on the network in order to provide better service.
The outage is scheduled to take place from 10pm on Sunday 2 August til 6am on Monday 3 August but the supply may be restored at any time.
“Customers are urged to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times,” the utility said.
“City Power regrets any inconvenience that may be caused by these interruptions.”
The following areas will be affected:
• Breaunanda Ext 2
• Helderkruin
• Helderkruin extensions 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 24, 26, 27, 28 and 29
• Princess and Princess AH and Princess AH Ext 2
• Princess extensions 12, 19, 21, 23, 27, 30, 31, 33, 34, 35, 37 and 41
• Roodekrans
• Roodekrans extensions 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13 and 24
• Wilropark
• Wilropark extensions 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 18, 23, 25, 26 and 33
• Witpoortjie
