Load shedding tonight almost unavoidable
Load shedding will almost be unavoidable tonight (Tuesday 28 July) in Florida and Roodepoort.
Eskom has not yet indicated on twitter whether load shedding will be implemented today.
However, in Block 3B (Roodepoort and surrounds) load shedding is forecast from Stage 1 from 8pm til 12.30am. Should Stage 2 or 3 be implemented, Roodepoorters will have a double time slot from 4am til 8.30am and 8pm til 12.30am.
In Block 7B (Florida and surrounds) load shedding is not forecast should Stage 1 be implemented, but should Stage 2 be implemented, residents will be affected from 8pm til 12.30am. Should Stage 3 be implemented, an extra time slot will be added from 4am til 8.30am.
These schedule times are according to City Power’s official Load Shedding schedule and the app, GridWatch.
