Here are interesting facts you may not have known about chocolate.

According to an online article, chocolate gives you a more intense high than kissing does.

National Milk Chocolate Day was created to celebrate the tastiness of chocolate bars and because chocolate is a mood enhancer, by eating it, you could be happy for the rest of the day.

The invention of chocolate dates back to 1900 BC and since then, it is almost hard to resist by most people.

Here are a few interesting facts you may not have known:

1. Back in the day, chocolate used to be consumed as a liquid and not a solid.

2. During the Revolutionary War in America, soldiers were paid in chocolate.

3. A study conducted in London in 2004 showed people would reveal their passwords in exchange for a chocolate bar.

4. Ruth Wakefield who invented the chocolate chip cookie, sold her cookie recipe to Nestlé in exchange for a lifetime supply of chocolate.
