Therapists surprised the children of Arise and Shine Daycare
Johannesburg Metro Therapists surprised the children of Arise and Shine Daycare on Friday (24 July) with a visit.
Despite the cold weather, occupational, speech and hearing therapists and their assistants from Discoverers and Zola Clinics came bearing gifts such as milk, formula, toys and painting tools for the playground.
They also brought seedlings and compost for the daycare’s vegetable garden.
The daycare’s owner Jeanette Khumalo was in high spirits as the therapists repainted the playground and entertained the children.
“I’m so happy today because God has heard our prayers. Help is always promised to us but those promises never get delivered so we have learned to never get excited until we see people arrive. So when the therapists walked through our door I was ecstatic. God said he will lift you up before your enemies,” she said.
